OUR WHY

Hosts Lindsay and Lauren are both former corporate superstars turned ADHD coaches who were diagnosed with ADHD in their late-30s. They are also both moms who are unlocking the generational neurodiversity within their own families. Discovering their passion for coaching transformed their lives, and made them want to change the narrative around neurodiversity. They believe that the different ways we think, learn, and process information should be talked about, understood, and celebrated in all areas of life. Neurodivergent thinkers contribute to the world in the most interesting ways and often have inspiring non-linear career paths that follow a wavy line rather than a straight line. We believe that when we can finally talk openly and accept ourselves for who we are and how we think, we’ll all go from surviving to thriving in work and life.

Lindsay
Binette

Lindsay founded The Wavy Brain and is a marketing executive turned ADHD Coach and voice for neurodivergent thinkers. Before becoming an ADHD Coach, she spent 18 years rising the ranks at brands like Nike, Levi’s, Nest, and Keds. A recent, late-in-life diagnosis coupled with the experience of caring for two young kids during the global pandemic led Lindsay to rethink her career and, ultimately,  her life purpose.  As she worked to understand her own brain post-diagnosis, her deep dive into all things ADHD evolved into a passion for neurodiversity support, education, and advocacy.

Lindsay specializes in working with adults as part of her coaching practice.  She collaborates with her clients to learn about ADHD and neurodiversity and encourages them to build their self-awareness & self-compassion around how their unique brain works to build long-term, sustainable ADHD management strategies.  Lindsay advises companies of all sizes to educate on neurodiversity and weave ND into core company values for a more inclusive workplace and authentic company culture.
